Marine Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Rib Installation Engineer with a speciality in leisure to join a well established company in Colchester. We are looking for an RIB Installation Engineer to head-up our new RIB fitout and maintenance service. Representing one of the leading aluminium-hulled RIB brands in the world, we are intent on resetting the bar on high-end RIB installation engineering.
Working a part of a small and dynamic engineering team, the role will comprise:
• Outboard engine installation, commissioning and maintenance
• Installation and maintenance of boat equipment and systems including consoles, steering, and other ancillary equipment
• Fluid system maintenance covering fuel and hydraulic mediums
• Low voltage electronics installation including chartplotter, VHF radio, and autopilot systems. Also the upgrading, and fault diagnosis and resolution of such systems
• Trailer commissioning and set-up
• Providing accurate time estimates, spares requirements, and completing engineer's reports as required
