Lead Detail Design Engineer – Marine
An exciting opportunity arisen for an experienced design engineer to join an established Yacht manufacturer in the midlands and take a lead within their Detail Design Team!
This is a unique opportunity to lead team of detail designers within a highly established company which is looking to grow and develop further!
Experience
Strong experience designing within the leisure marine industry preferably or defence
Strong and competent using 3D Computer Aided Engineering programs such as Siemens NX experience or other equivalent software
Carry out detailed drawings and designs to a high standard under strict deadlines for ongoing and new projects.
The ability to work under pressure and complete projects to a high standard within completion times.
Responsible for the design and development of GRP components and general outfitting parts on all new and legacy product ranges
Support and develop junior designers with realistic and achievable tasks
Ensure all projects are ran effectively and efficiently and completed to the deadlines given by the project manager.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
