Key Account Manager, Superyacht Lighting

Key Account Manager, leading manufacturer of underwater lighting for superyachts and luxury yachts, home based UK with extensive and consistent international travel.

Due to expansion this leading UK manufacturer are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager who will work closely with the Superyacht Project Manager who is based on the South Coast UK.

You will be involved in all aspects of systems, planning and control of bespoke onboard lighting solutions for the Superyacht market with projects ranging in value from £20,000 to £250,000.

You would liaise directly with several OEMs as well as the owners themselves and you will be required to travel frequently around Europe and occasionally further afield. Excellent communication skills will be required to support, co-ordinate and project manage each fit, dealing with sales team intervention, timescales and managing expectations

This is a customer service role and exceptional client relationship management experience will be key. You will be required to network B2B with the yards, distributors and external sales team.

Of graduate calibre, it is essential to have five to 10 years experience as an Account Manager in a product related environment selling B2B and ideally also B2C.

Marine sector experience is not essential but would be beneficial; as would be good practical knowledge of yachts and superyachts.

Experience selling products into the Superyacht and yacht sector would, of course, be ideal.

This role will entail extensive regular and ongoing international travel. Whilst the majority of this travel will be European, you must be able to travel globally unhindered.
