An exciting opportunity to join a world-leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specializing in high-end marine systems for the luxury yacht, commercial ship, and military ship market sectors.
We are a dynamic team of professionals supplying and supporting our highly successful technology-based products worldwide.
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical-Hydraulic Engineer to work from our leading European office. You will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic circuits. We are seeking a self-starter who has strong technical skills to take the lead for commercial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Technical lead for commercial projects, reviewing specifications of contracts, producing factor acceptance testing documents, handbooks and information sheets
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure classification requirements are met on customer contracts
  • Assist spares and service teams with product queries
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Other duties reasonably assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, HNC/D or BTEC Level 3
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and an understanding of hydraulic circuits
  • Proven experience in project engineering or a similar role
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD software for design and drafting purposes
  • Knowledge of SAGE, Mathcad and MS Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team member
