CRM Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a CRM Developer to join our growing commercial team.
Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, the role will support the global Commercial and Operations teams across my client.Working closely with product owners (primarily the Commercial Coordinator) in the Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and optimise a Salesforce integration strategy that supports the delivery of strategic business goals outlined by the Executive.

  • Responsible for communicating with stakeholders, while working closely with product owners to gather requirements to deliver relevant CRM tools and communicating agreed outputs across the different teams and wider business.

  • Accountable for the day-to-day management of an effective CRM and digital marketing ecosystem (namely Sales Cloud and Pardot).

  • Accountable for the design and implementation of effective CRM processes such as Flows, Data Maintenance, and controls in line with Business Development strategy.

  • Accountable for managing and implementing CRM tools and ensuring they are successfully integrated with others across the Group.

  • Change management and impact assessment of new Salesforce requirements and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.

  • Proactively maximise Salesforce insights and analytics functionality for stakeholders.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in Salesforce and Pardot and associated marketing tools, ensuring that the business gets maximum value from the tool including cross-training teams as appropriate.

  • Support the development of Salesforce to ensure it remains aligned to the evolving needs of the business.

  • Maintain a solid understanding of GDPR and its practical implications on CRM initiatives, and ensure the CRM team adhere to policies and processes that drive good health of client data.

  • Identify, recommend and implement opportunities to drive automation and efficiency across all internal processes and marketing communications.

  • Ensure the careful control of release processes and regression testing, resulting in all changes being committed to the Production environment without error.

  • Hands on configuration of all new and existing features including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, and other 3rd party applications.

  • Assist in managing CRM application including support requests and escalated administrative needs of users by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.

  • Documenting system design and proposed changes, adhering to organisational IT governance requirements.


Person, skills, and knowledge Specification

  • 3+ years’ experience working independently in a Salesforce role, with demonstrable experience supporting and maintaining Sales Cloud. Including Workflows, Validation Rules, Lightning Flow, Process Builder, Roles, Public Groups, Profiles, Reports, Dashboards and Change Sets.

  • Salesforce Administrator credential required; Sales Cloud Consultant credential preferred.

  • 1+ year experience working independently in Pardot to develop templates, campaigns, etc.

  • Experience of using marketing automation to improve processes and deliver value.

  • Experience of designing, developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns.

  • Experience working across the full Salesforce project lifecycle from analysis, design, testing to implementation.

  • Experience of managing change implementation into working environments.

  • Experience of working with commercial stakeholders, including product owners, to establish requirements.

  • Understanding of data and data structure.

  • Ability to work within a technical team, to deliver data throughout the business.

  • Relevant work experience or Batchelor level degree in Maths, IT, Marketing or similar.

  • Solid understanding of GDPR and it’s practical implications on CRM.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify actionable insights from large volumes of data and a keen eye for detail.

  • Be ambitious, energetic and have high standards and expectations.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills that ensure effective conveyance of information across teams and divisions, as well as senior leaders across the business.

  • Carry a positive mindset, solution oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
