We are currently seeking an experienced Composite Technician to join their team. In this role, you will support the composite projects and on-site activities, handling a variety of tasks, ranging from minor repairs to large-scale upgrades. You will also engage with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure that all work meets the company's high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing composite repairs and upgrades using pre-preg and wet laminating techniques.
• Safely removing damaged composite materials and preparing for repairs.
• Handling customer inquiries related to composite repairs and upgrades.
• Assisting project managers with scope and pricing proposals for clients.
• Supporting the development and improvement of composite material processes and procedures.
• Working on national and international on-site projects, ensuring work is completed to specifications and within set deadlines.
• Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
• Assisting with the development of department facilities and processes.
Essential Experience and Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in composite building and repairs.
• Strong understanding of carbon fibre parts and structure repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, organised, and able to work under pressure.
• Experience with mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel and work internationally as required.
