Marine Resources are proud to be working in partnership with The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) in their search for a new CEO.
WPNSA is a world-class NFP organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of sailing in all its forms. Building on from the legacy of the 2012 Olympics, the academy continues to host prestigious sailing events and training programmes, as well as other innovative projects and events.
This is a true CEO position reporting directly to the board of trustees and holding full P&L responsibility across multiple and diverse revenue streams. As such our ideal candidate should be commercially minded but also have passion for the NFP aims and objectives in line with the WPNSA’s mission statement. An ability to see the bigger picture on projects to drive operational excellence is intrinsic to the role as is the need to foster and cultivate positive relationships with external stakeholders and organisations, upholding the Academy's reputation, and championing continuous improvement.

- Developing appropriate strategic options and policies for approval by the board and final responsibility for the delivery of those approved strategic objectives.
- Responsible for introducing innovative approaches to ensure that the profile of the Academy, the events it hosts, and its activities are commensurate with the World Class status of the venue.
- Engaging effectively with people at all levels in partner organisations
