Job Description:

We require a multi-skilled, versatile marine electrical designer for the fit out of our USVs

Responsibilities include:

We require a multi-skilled, versatile uncrewed vessel operator . The SEA-KIT USV is operated from a remote bridge, which is stationed ashore. It can be based anywhere in the world, providing the remote operator with full situational awareness and control features.

Responsibilities include:

• Hands-on involvement and management of mobilisation and demobilisation of vessels on site
• Watchkeeping responsibility for the vessel from our remote-control centre
• Detailed record-keeping and reporting
• Managing team of skippers' & communicating with technical personnel for problem solving of any technical issues, including electrical and mechanical system.
• Assisting with and managing vessel maintenance

Knowledge and Skills:
• Master <200 GT (desirable)
• Yacht master Offshore 200 GT (commercially endorsed)
• Good knowledge of maritime regulations and vessel operations
• Knowledge of survey, ROV and AUV operations (preferential)
• Good watchkeeping experience onboard workboats
• Hands-on experience working with marine electrical and mechanical systems
• Good IT skills
• Fleet management experience
• Willing and able to travel both locally and internationally as required by the project
• Based within commutable distance to Tollesbury, Essex (or willing to relocate)
• Full UK Driving License
