Technical Administrator
Do you have experience of working in a technical support role? Then this is the step you have been waiting for!
Working within the sales operation and alongside the design and manufacturing teams, you will be supporting our client by providing administrative and technical support to the business and its customers.
This long-established company is well recognised in the marine industry for the design and manufacture of high quality exhaust systems and a range of distributed technical products. They offer the most advanced products available with a range of standard and bespoke solutions designed and optimised to suit their client's needs, selling their products directly to Yacht Manufacturers and via its network of Dealers and Distributors.
This business is teamwork orientated and has a very low staff turnover as it invests in personal development. The team works closely together and is looking for an enthusiastic, structured individual with experience in sales administration and with a technical background. The ideal candidate will have:
• An administrative background or aptitude
• Technical experience or aptitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-motivated, organised, with the desire to meet customer expectations
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in a positive and professional manner
• Computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Team player
• Minimum of GCSE passes in English, Maths and Science or a technical subject
Desirables:
• Knowledge of the marine industry
• An ONC or HNC in mechanical engineering
