Graduate Naval Architect!!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Naval Architect, with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and utilise problem solving skills this is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to make a mark early on in their career!
Some of your duties will include;
Provide and receive project information from the Project Naval Architect.
Analyze, design and build technical solutions that deliver the project goal.
Create detailed design documentation.
Estimate time required to complete specific project tasks.
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.
Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.
Design plans, elevations, and systems routings with the help of software and in conjunction with responsible engineer.
Assist with designs for structure, engineering, electrical and electronics.
Aid in the selection of materials for the products. (BOM)
Produce final design specifications along with the Naval Architect.
Collaborate with assistant drafters and other workers involved in the project design.
Maintain weight estimates and monitoring of as built vessel performance versus contract base line.
Ensure the maintenance of the projects drawing log and design office systems.
Develop design office systems to reduce project workload where possible.
