Marine Resources are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to work on cutting edge high-voltage systems on unique projects.

This role will be pivotal in implementing full vessel solutions for electrification and foiling flight control systems, trouble shoot issues, and contributing to the success of groundbreaking engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with high-voltage (HV) systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation throughout the development and testing phases.

  • Create test harness systems based on pinouts, including ordering the necessary components and materials.

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnosing issues and proposing effective solutions.

  • Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of electrical equipment and systems to ensure their reliability and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into overall vessel designs.

  • Support field testing and commissioning activities, both locally and internationally, as required by engineering projects.

  • Adhere to relevant safety guidelines and industry standards while working with HV systems and other electrical components.

  • Document all activities, including test results, procedures, and modifications, in a clear and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Experince working on low volume, precision work from high performance industry.

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a high-voltage environment.

  • Proficiency in implementing electrical designs to drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with test harness systems, including the ability to order components and create assemblies based on pinouts.

  • Excellent understanding of electrical safety protocols and adherence to industry standards.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on project progress.

  • Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field desirable.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required by engineering projects.

  • Drivers license
