Job Opportunity: Field Sales Executive 

This role offers an excellent opportunity to establish yourself in the leisure marine industry. 

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter seeking a rewarding sales role in the marine industry? Our client, a leading specialist rope manufacturer, is looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Visit chandlers, rigging outfits, and original equipment manufacturers on the road.
  • Sell premium ropes to new and existing customers within the Leisure Marine sector.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through in-person visits and phone communication.
  • Represent our client in key UK sailing locations across South, Southwest, and East England.
  • Conduct direct sales from a fully stocked van and facilitate order taking for factory delivery.
Requirements:

Must-Have Competencies:
  • Active involvement in sailing, windsurfing, or kite surfing.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about the marine industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Proven ability to generate and maintain strong commercial relationships.
  • Capacity to work independently with a high level of initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when visiting clients.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in the leisure marine industry.
  • Prior sales experience; however, personality, enthusiasm, and tenacity are paramount.
