My client based in Liverpool are looking to recruit for an Electrical Supervisor to join their team and to play an important role in the production of State of the art military craft.
The Electrical Supervisor will manage a small team, comprising of Team Leaders and Electrical Fitters fitting out the electrical systems on new build small craft up to 20m (65 ft) in length. The successful person will have the ability to read/follow technical drawings, be proactive and have a good eye for detail and quality workmanship
Typical Tasks include
• Terminating cables, crimping and creating looms
• Installation of cable management systems
• Running pre-prepared cables/looms through the boats
• Mounting and installing a variety of components
• Testing systems and equipment
• Diagnose faults and problem solve
• Liaison with electrical engineering design team members.
The successful candidate will have
• Experience in both DC. and AC. electrical installations preferably in a Marine, Automotive or aerospace environment.
• Time served with electrical qualifications essential.
• Ability to read drawings
• Knowledge of marine navigation systems
• Knowledge of ISO standards for AC and DC systems
• Wiring Standards (18th Edition or equivalent)
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, management and communication skills working to high professional standards
