Business Development Executive

Marine Resources are working exclusively with a leading marina business in the north-west, in Cheshire, to find an customer centric sales professional As the business development executive, you will have a strong sales background but not necessarily in the marine industry. This is a fast pasted industry, so you'll be energetic and keen to meet sale targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Delivery of Sales including administrational tasks such as production of brokerage information sheets, videos, and pictures, performing to KPI's set by the Sales Manager.

• Managing of Brokerage sales processes and utilisation of current systems including Act. This includes utilising of the sales funnel process i.e., taking a customer from enquiry to sale.

• Communicate proactively to existing and potential customers by providing information on products and services.

• Optimise sales and brand awareness at events and exhibitions to promote the Marinas activities.

• Accountable for the timely processing of payments relating to such things as deposits for boats.

• Provide marketing with all relevant information in order for them to actively promote Brokerage services.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.

• Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports.

• Identifies service improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

• Contacting prospective clients through a variety of mediums - this could include reaching out on social media, phoning, emailing, or meeting in person

.Skills and Experience required:

Essential
  • Sales experience.


Expected
• Experience of using a CRM system to track prospects as well as ongoing sales.
• A proven track record of proactively generating sales.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of using MS Office software

Nice to Have
• Boating knowledge.
• Experience of using sage accounts and/or Kudo's systems.
• Experience of ACT! CRM software.

Working Days/ Hours

• 8am till 5pm, Monday to Friday + One weekend in five on a rota-based system
• 30 Days holiday
• Enrolment to health scheme after 1 year's employment

Pay: Basic Salary per year depending on experience + Bonus opportunities
