Marine Resources have an ongoing and urgent requirement for welders

You will be based in Glasgow.

Ideally you will be someone who has previous experience working in a shipyard.

You'll have the ability to read engineering drawings and interpret work instructions and be proficient in the use of general workshop machinery and hand tools such as the use of grinders, guillotines and band saws.

You will be competent with weld processes such as MMA, MIG Flux-core and TIG (in mainly carbon steel and stainless steel) and have the ability to use basic gouge and edge preparation through grinding.

We are really keen to hear from candidates with security clearance!

This is an ongoing and potentially long term contract.
