Marine Resources are currently recruiting for number of Boat Assembly Technicians to join a well established, luxury boat building company in Wallingford,
Main Duties:
Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader. Adopting good workmanship standards, paying particular attention to quality.
Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule.
Assist in the preparation and bonding of boats.
Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded boats.
Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as direct by your line supervisor.
Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required.
Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required.
Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state.
Operates in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety procedure, and other related company policies.
Ancillary Duties:
To carry out such tasks and duties as may be required from time to time by senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
A good standard of general education.
Either qualified by experience (2 years plus) or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years plus experience of working in a similar environment. Must be practically minded and able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.

Good communicator – be able to understand and communicate instructions clearly and effectively

Highly organised and be able to prioritise work

Working hours are 37.5 per week (7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday).
