Job Title: Night Marina Operative
Location: Portsmouth
I’m currently recruiting for a Night Marina Operative to join a friendly and committed team based at Trafalgar Wharf in Portsmouth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently at night, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and values safety and security.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the marina remains safe, secure, and well managed overnight. Your responsibilities will include patrolling the marina and dry stack areas, carrying out safety and security checks, monitoring CCTV, and controlling access to secure areas. Our customers rely on a calm, professional presence, particularly outside core hours, so reliability and attention to detail are essential.

Working pattern:
This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off rota, working 12‑hour night shifts, including some weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.

- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confidence using, or learning to use, computer‑based systems
Working pattern:
This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off rota, working 12‑hour night shifts, including some weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.
Salary & benefits:
- Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)
- Annual leave allowance equivalent to 25 days
