Marine Resources are recruiting for a of Marine Electrician for a full time permanent position in Southampton.
You will be responsible for meeting the exacting deadlines required to complete each boat on time for delivery to its new owners. Your work will be varied, including everything from fitting various components across a wide range of systems in our world-class yachts, from hydraulics to air conditioning, from engine systems to generators, fuel, heating, waste and water cooling water systems.
You will be responsible for installing and testing all electrics, electronics and navigation equipment on yachts to an exceptional standard. The role includes:
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Installing electrical equipment on luxury yachts
- Coordinating your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building
- Carrying out general maintenance on equipment, including PAT testing
