Junior Production Manager - Asia
A growing boatbuilder in Asia seek a Junior Production Manager to join them as they evolve.
Following a very busy show season with over 20 boats ordered, the yard is growing to cope with what is expected to be a sustained increase.
The Junior Production Manager will assume responsibility for a mixed-skill team and be tasked with the following duties:
- Working with the Production Manager, design office and floor team to determine the production plan
- Implementing production strategy, managing a variety of craft at any one time.
- Leading, motivating and training a mixed-nationality team to produce craft to a high standard
- Ensuring quality standards throughout the process
As a character you will already be working as a production supervisor or production manager within a boatbuilding capacity. You'll be used to working with composite craft and be a keen sailor to boot, knowing the inner workings of a sailing craft and confident in being able to impart your knowledge and passion to others.
