A head of Naval Architecture and Engineering is required to join an exciting leisure marine brand based in Northern Europe.

This exciting brand is known for its design and build of cutting edge yachts and has been making waves in the industry with its recent releases being shown at events across Europe. Working from a purpose built and state-of-the-art facility, the company is only set to go one way!

As the company has grown, so has the design office. In turn, the brand is now seeking a talented individual to lead the team forwards in the completion of existing design projects and the development of new ones. Working closely with the Shipyard Manager, this post will be one of the most senior in the brand and aid the development of the company moving forwards.

As Head of the Engineering office, your duties will include:

- Strategic collaboration with the senior team to drive the companies values and ethos
- Oversight of a team of Designers, Structural/Mechanical Engineers, Naval Architects and Draughtsmen
- Problem solving - fit, finish and performance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and furniture
- Project Management - Spending time between shipyard and design office to ensure each stage of build is correctly completed

You'll be a true leader, inspiring a team to achieve and showing a clear drive to ensure the best standards are met at all times. You will have a thorough knowledge of working with composite construction, systems placement and yacht performance. In terms of language skills, English is a must, however further language skills would be beneficial.

In turn you'll be offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow a brand that is gathering pace at one hell of a rate!

On offer is a salary of €60-80,000 plus various further benefits. Due to location likely requiring relocation for many, this will also be discussed at interview stage.
