Front End / Full Stack JavaScript Developer – Fully remote but you must be happy to conduct visits to Valencia.
This client specialises in carbon fibre rigging products for yachting.
You will be responsible for developing platform for logging, reporting, and analysing performance data.
We are looking for a front-end engineer who can build out a compelling front end for utilizing the collected data in a useful way.
This is a very analytical role which requires an eye for detail and a good understanding of JavaScript assessing and analysing current data as well as updating the existing data and making small improvements.
Type of contract - Full time role
Location Remote from Fareham or Hampshire surroundings but you must be able to visit Valencia when required to do so
Remote Objectives and Responsibilities
o Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
o Knowledge about Web Sockets and MQTT
o Experienced with React & Typescript
o Knowledge about testing software and implementing test driven development
o Basic UI/UX Design
o Server-side knowledge – we use AWS
o Write lambda functions to query data and manage serverless environment
o Node.js experience

- Build a modern and engaging web app for analysing data stored in our cloud
- Build custom UIs and components for displaying data
- Build a locally hosted web-based dashboard that is modular and light weight
- Work with our graphic design / UI team to create a beautiful modern looking product
- Work with AWS to implement back-end capabilities with a serverless environment Profile
- Development
o Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
