Digital Marketing Executive - Southampton - Flexible Working

We have an exciting new position within a well-known marine organisation for a Digital Marketing Executive.

This is a full-time position, working 9 to 5, with the opportunity for flexible working arrangements, including working remotely.

Digital communications will be a key focus for this business in 2020. For this Position you will key in the development of the Website, APP, CRM system and you'll be having a direct impact on the businesses by greatly improving communications with their members, in particular by Email and Social Media.

Experience required:

Advanced B2B and B2C digital marketing experience. Including;
• Managing, developing and optimising existing and new websites.
• Content Management Systems (CMS), including Umbraco, WordPress and Sitecore.
• Technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
• Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), including Microsoft Dynamics.
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Social media Marketing. Key platforms include LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Social media Influencer management.
• Digital agency selection and management.
• Email marketing platforms, including Campaign Monitor and MailChimp.
• International event marketing experience, B2B trade and B2C events.
• APP development and content management.
• Video content marketing.
• Digital analytical, reporting and scheduling tools.
• Microsoft Office.

Purpose of the position:

• The development, management and implementation of a digital marketing plan and rolling content plan.
• Act as the gatekeeper' for all digital marketing communications, including those from the wider team and membership associations.
• Websites: Responsible for the user experience, including functionality, design and the sourcing, curating and publishing of all website content.
• Development of a brand-new B2B website, including content, CRM integration, structure, user experience, tone of voice and SEO.
• Social media: Development of a social media strategy, delivering sustained engagement and follower growth. Responsible for co-ordinating the social media activity, including that from the wider team and our associations.
• Email marketing: Deliver relevant, engaging, timely email communications.
• Support the development of a new CRM system, to help the effective personalisation and automation of all digital marketing communications.
• Digital advertising, including social media: Placement, performance, agency management, reporting and budget management.
• Brand: Work with Head of Marketing & Communications to develop the brand, including event branding and identity (including the look, feel, position, language, style, tone of voice and consistency) and how that works across the various digital marketing channels. Become guardian of the brand across all digital collateral.
• Influencer marketing: Working with our agencies, secure and maximise the ROI from our influencer and celebrity marketing activities.
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and Key Performance Indicators).
