JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, Burton Waters Marinas, are a family led business and now one of the most established and successful boat dealerships in the UK, operating 3 offices along the East Coast in Lincoln, Lowestoft and Ipswich. They are urgently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to head up their newest branch in Ipswich.

The Ipswich offices are dealers for new Sealine and Dufours, they also provide a brokerage service for motor & sail yachts of all sizes.

Candidates without experience in yacht sales or brokerage will not be selected for interview

Our client prides themselves on their reputation. Candidates must have:

• Proven yacht sales background in brokerage or new boat sales
  

• Practical knowledge of sailing and motorboats

• 5 years marine industry experience
  

• Sales Management training
  

• Vision to optimise sales potentials

• Excellent customer service skills

In addition, you must:

• Possess good organisational and administrative skills

• Be of a smart appearance

• Work well as a team member but also be able to work upon your own initiative.
  

Taking over from the current sales manager you will be managing a team of four to five. This will be an exciting and challenging role where pure enthusiasm and flexibility are key to a successful drive in moving this new outlet forward.


SALARY

Approx. basic of £25,000 with high OTE potential.
