Out client is the market leading composite standing rigging manufacturer in a rapidly expanding market. This pioneering company has developed the product in the Grandprix race sector and is now in the process of rolling out the technology to the Superyacht and broader race/cruise markets. Future Fibres was first into the Superyacht market based on its proven system. The benefits of composite over traditional rod rigging are significant and the majority of the superyacht industry has already bought into the fact that this is the future for this sector. The company’s aim therefore is to become a long term, dominant player in this sector.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with solid marine industry background, good trade connections (designers, shipyards, project managers) and an understanding of the superyacht industry. He/she will be an effective communicator / negotiator with sales experience - particularly large contract negotiations. The business is squarely in the middle of the marine industry however, the culture of the organisation is anything but, therefore, we are not looking for your ‘average’ sales professional.

Key responsibilities

- Be the main sales contact for key superyacht projects
- Achieve specified annual sales targets
- Handle sales negotiations and attend client meetings
- Maintain relationships with key influencer groups: Designers, shipyards, project managers, Skippers
- Maintain up to date information on global superyacht order book plus retrofit opportunities
- Act as liaison between customers, engineering and R&D departments to ensure continued development of our clients superyacht products to satisfy their client expectations and maintain our clients market leading position in this market
