JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a market leader in Marine safety equipment. They are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Sales Manager to work throughout England and Wales.

Thr primary function of the role is to promote the sales and service of our client's equipment and trade articles.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Plan and implement Marketing Strategy, including advertising and PR
• Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development
• Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets
• Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff
  
• Manage new business development
  

The successful candidate will be responsible for Sales and Marketing throughout England and Wales, and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Candidates must:

• Have extensive Technical Sales experience in a relevant Marine company
• Have excellent knoweldge of and contacts within the commercial marine sector.
• Be located near to one of our client's main offices. Ideally, you will be based in the Hampshire area, however, other locations can be considered.
• Have a good knowledge of Marine safety products and the various requirements
