JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an internationally renowned and award winning company that specialise in the interior design, manufacture and fit out of luxury Superyachts and Megayachts around the world. With their main factory located in Dubai they also have a number of other factories, offices and ongoing current projects situated all over the globe making them a truly international leader in their field.

They are currently recruiting an experienced Project Planner with experience in the fit out industry with particular emphasis in Joinery

• To be fully conversant in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and knowledge of Primavera software.
  

• To liaise directly with the Project Manager on all issues pertaining to the project.
  

• To liaise together with the Project Manager on all discussions with the client or the appointed representative pertaining to the schedule of works.
  

• To liaise with the procurement department on all issues pertaining to all projects.
  

• To liaise with the commercial department and in particular the assigned Quantity Surveyor for the project.
  

• To liaise with the Technical production manager regarding all production scheduling.
  

• To have had extensive experience in the fit out industry with particular emphasis in Joinery.

• To consistently keep abreast of market trends and construction methods

• To ensure that the companies policy and procedures are maintained and implemented at all times. Whilst continuously seeking ways to improve, refine and modify procedures.

• To be well presented at all times and constantly work in the best interest of the company

• Estimating project / production components based on historical data, current experience and job requirements
  

• Plans and follows up on project production statusLiaises between factory production and site progress

• Prioritizes and monitors internal production program

• Chairs production-planning meetings

• To attend scheduled in house meetings.
