Full Job Description:

With immediate effect, we are looking for a On Board Trainer – Technical to train our crew onboard our vessels.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:

• Technical Training onboard vessels under our Full Management

• Developing a training plan/check list for the Engine Department in co-operation with the Training Department and all other company Departments
  

• Developing a reporting matrix for internal use; close contact with the Fleet Personnel, Technical, QSE/RRC and Marine Departments is required
  

• Assisting the ship’s command, officers and ratings by giving theoretical and practical advice and detailed explanations to Engine Department on issues to be raised during the training sessions
  

• Motivation of crew

Required qualifications:

• Chief Engineer’s license

• Strong analytical and excellent communication skills

• Long-standing seagoing experience

• Excellent command of the English language

• Flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide

• Experience in working in a multicultural environment

• Previous teaching experience or experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage

The On Board Trainer - Technical will report to the Training Department.
UNITEAM MARINE will offer an in house training for the appropriate candidate.
