Overview

Antigua Yacht Club is a well known international club which runs the RORC 600 offshore race, Antigua Classics and is involved with Antigua Race week, it also has a developing youth program and a growing social calendar.

The yacht club has had a significant period of growth and development over the last year and as such now needs to employ a full time manager.

General Description of Job

. Developing the dinghy sailing program with the Dinghy manager and Dinghy Fleet captain
. Working with the Commodore to implement club policy
. Ensuring the House and Grounds are cared for
. Managing the office, Bar and Dock
. Managing the relationship with all tenants etc
. Developing new activities and business
. Develop and maintain a budget

The Ideal Candidate will have:

. RYA Senior Instructor certificate
. Previous experience running a sailing centre
. An interest in Racing
. Experience of planning, budgeting and organising events
. Experience of managing and motivating staff
. Experience working in the Caribbean

This is a fantastic role with a great opportunity to develop a well known club both locally and internationally, this club is developing itself rapidly and so needs a well motivated individual to help us get to the next 'level'

SALARY

$40000 USD
