Marine Resources Managing Director James Ward joins the British Marine Federation’s Membership and Marketing Committee.
Marine Resources Managing Director James Ward has been asked to join the new British Marine Federation Membership and Marketing Committee. The committee is a vital part of the BMF’s success and oversees many important elements of the BMF such as
- Engaging with the members and delivering a valuable service
- Raising awareness of what being a member of the BMF means and what it can offer
- Promoting the BMF brand and other marketing strategies
The British Marine Federation represents a wide range of businesses in the leisure, super yacht and small commercial marine industry.
The idea was born in the 1900s, where ship builders joined force and became known as the Boat, Yacht and Allied Trades Association. This association grew from strength to strength; birthing the London International Boat Show in 1954.The International Boat shows that take place yearly have become an integral part of the Martine Industry and are well known by professionals within the industry as well as those potential new members who want to dip their toes into the water. The BMF remains a big influence within the Marine Industry as members continue to join.
James Ward, MD at Marine Resources says “I am thrilled to have been asked to join the British Marine Federation Membership and Marketing Committee. I have been a member of the BMF for several years now and believe the BMF have played an important part in the ongoing success of Marine Resources.
