JOB DESCRIPTION

This exciting new position will lead the development and manufacture of a range of ground breaking motor boat designs targetted to offer vastly improved ride and comfort and fuel efficiency at a competitive price for the leisure cruising market.

Reporting to the Chairman you will initially be involved in the selection of sub contract boat builders (probably based in UK/China) to ensure on time/cost project completion.  In conjunction with our UK based design team you will need to develop and implement build procedures and rigorous quality management systems.  After mould/pre-production approval it is aniticipated that the position of Marine Projects Manager will develop towards general management with responsibility for setting up worldwide distribution channels and on-going product development, manufacture and marketing.

Candidates, preferably degree educated, should have at least 5 years relevant experience in the marine industry and a keen interest in boating with a business focus.  You will need in depth knowledge of F.R.P. boat manufacture including electrical/plumbing systems and leading marine accessory product ranges.
