2014 has been a successful year and Marine Resources look forward to the new business year ahead.
The year started with the annual London Boat Show which saw the industry come together to support those affected by the severe floods in Somerset. Marine Resources along with other Boat Show Exhibitors donated money to purchase a boat to transport locals in Somerset who had experienced problems as a result of the extreme floods over New Year.
Marine Resources have welcomed three new consultants to their team this year, Teddy, Sebastian and Ed. Dale joined the team later in the year to assist with general administration and recruitment support. Teddy oversees the Recruitment from day to day and recruits for senior positions. Sebastian works with Sales professionals while Ed’s focus is on Boat Building.
Ben Lee, who joined the team at Marine Resources under two years ago has been promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant with a focus on the Design and Engineering sector.
September was a busy month for Marine Resources as they joined ISAF’s Connect to Sailing Initiative
as a performance partner for Marine Recruitment. The Connect to Sailing initiative enables all nations, be they emerging, developing or developed to grow awareness of, and increase accessibility to sailing in all of its many forms. Since the official launch of the Connect to Sailing initiative in 2009, alongside the creation of a dedicated Training and Development department within the International Sailing Federation, over 55 Nations across all continents have benefited from the support of Connect to Sailing. Marine Resources offer a recruitment discount for the partners of this initiative, this can activated by quoting MR-ISAFC2S when purchasing credits or when using the full consultancy service, Search & Place.September also saw Marine Resource’s annual Boat Show Party, the event was once again held at Pop world, Southampton. The event raised over £600 for the two nominated charities C.R.Y and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and gave industry professionals an opportunity to let their hair down and relax during the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
