Sunseeker International are one of the leading manufacturers of high end luxury motoryachts in Europe. With a host of new models and a strong dealer network, the brand is going from strength to strength, experienced excellent growth. 

As a result of this sustained growth, there is a need to grow the workforce to cope with demand. In this instance, the requirement has been identified for a Materials Planner to join the Supply Chain department, based in Poole. 

Materials Planners hold a key role within the Sunseeker brand, as they are responsible for ensuring that everything used to build a Sunseeker Yacht is in the right place, at the right time. With 20 different yachts being built across 5 sites on the South Coast, this is no easy task. 

Working from the GfBOM, your role will be to ensure that the correct materials in the correct volume are provided to production on time and to spec at all times, minimising material waste and ensuring production isnt delayed. 

You'll be in regular contact with Sales and Production, expertly managing your assigned area of the business to ensure it runs as faultlessly as possible. 

Whilst you'll of course be following and updating existing process, you'll also be expected to evolve it, through updates based on materials request and through further understanding of your allocated units. 

As a person, you'll be able to exhibit previous planning experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. You'l be used to working across a range of products, using production drawings to build your materials list alongside working with an existing system. You'll be highly organised and used to working with SAP systems.
