JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is an internationally renowned and award winning company that specialise in the interior design, manufacture and fit out of luxury Superyachts and Megayachts around the world. With their main factory located in Dubai they also have a number of other factories, offices and ongoing current projects situated all over the globe making them a truly international leader in their field.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced Fit Out Supervisor who has worked on large luxury interior projects.

The Successful candidate’s tasks will include:

• To have and maintain an intimate knowledge of the Project Scope (Contracted specification)
  

• They shall have and maintain a full understanding of the Project Timeline, requesting and distributing information in a timely manner to ensure that full compliance to the Contract parameters & milestones is achieved
  

• To monitor the Manpower budget, planning his manpower loading in accordance with the Projects requirements
  

• To monitor the Project Scope, ensuring that any on-site Variation Request is reported and managed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  

• To manage the on-site installation of the contracted items, including the protection of the installed items from damage
  

• To work with the Ship Yard to ensure the interface matrix
  

• To manage and monitor the Subcontractors.
  

• To be responsible for the maintenance and recording of the Project correspondence
  

• To report to the Project Manager on a regular weekly and monthly basis.
  

• To be responsible for the site Occupational Health and Safety.
  

•  To identify risks at an early stage thus avoiding delays.
  

• To check all materials, products, goods upon receipt and notify any defects or damage to the allocated production manager and project manager immediately.
  

• To record all goods transferred to or from the project and to ensure records of surplus, spares or damaged goods are properly maintained

• To consistently keep abreast of market trends and construction methods

• To ensure that the company policy and procedures are maintained and implemented at all times. Whilst continuously seeking ways to improve, refine and modify procedures.
