JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Specification:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the design team in producing detailed joinery parts and assemblies for CNC production. You will become part of an established design team working on a range of existing and new craft.
Candidates will have experience within the boatbuilding industry. CATIA experience is preferred however a Solidworks background would be considered.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be degree qualified or have at least 5 years relevant experience. Proven experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL.
Key Responsibilities: Setting out of cabin joinery using CATIA. Generation and upkeep of parts and Sub Assemblies to increase the joinery library to improve efficiency. Generation of fabrication details to compliment joinery knowledge. Liaison with production regarding joinery manufacture and detailing.
Skills:
Knowledge of joinery construction is essential. Appreciation of yachts and yacht joinery. Appreciation of yacht systems. Knowledge of CATIA or Solidworks is essential. Understanding of CNC machining is advantageous. Autocad 2D. Microsoft office suite.
SALARY Competitive / dependant on experience.
