JOB DESCRIPTION

An established specialist in marine repair, refits and new build on all types of boats currently have a vacancy for several boat builders. If you have tried and tested carpentry skills and are highly knowledgeable as it is about quality then please apply. Their need is urgent and so the start is immediate! Someone who is able to produce a high standard product without supervision, has pride in their work and enjoys crafting/fitting things. All variety of new builds from catamarans (40-50ft), a range of monohulls and ribs. An exciting opportunity for a gifted craftsperson to join their team of master technicians.

 A reputation for excellence and using traditional skills. Several opportunities to work in one of the few remaining boatyards that offer a complete marine service. The premises are undergoing continuous improvement programmes to accommodate more specialist work including paint and osmosis treatment facilities. Major benefits will be available after the first years service. Initially there will quite a bit of overtime but the basic salary is currently based on a 40 hour week.

SALARY

£12 per hour plus overtime
