JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is the UK and Eire distributor for major brand diesel and industrial engines including Isuzu, and Farymann. They require a new sales manager to cover their offshore and coastal market.

The successful applicants will be responsible for the sale of marine engines, generating sets and accessories from the companies’ product portfolio.

The ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions is essential. Excellent communication, organisational skills and computer literacy are required.

Previous experience in the marine industry would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided as part of the companies induction programme.

Reporting Directly to the Sales Manager:
Working technical experience of diesel engines is a must as this knowledge is required when selling the product…
You will be responsible for the offshore and coastal market
The role is very much field based - with 3 to 4 days traveling on the road.
Office attendance would include Monthly Sales Meetings
Likely candidates would come from well known engine dealers or manufactures as this would prove essential product knowledge.
