Our client is a leading supplier of highly specialised electrical connectors for a range of advanced marine products distributing on an international scale.An exciting role has evolved to expand this area of the company

Founded from the early sixties this company has developed from vast experience of working with the defense and aerospace industries; they have a great reputation to support the ever increasing demands of the marine electronics industry

They require someone with a solid Sales & Marketing background to continue in the development of this exciting sector

This will be A Field Sales Based Role; checking into the main office based near Hastings on a weekly basis.

Primary Purpose:

To utilise sales and product management skills in order to expand the companies’ customer base and achieve business plan objectives

Core Responsibilities & Tasks:

1. Act as the Leisure Marine Field Specialist within all market areas.

2. Identify Marine market opportunities/routes to market and develop/launch new products to meet market requirements.

3. Assist in the development of the Leisure Marine Business Plan.

4. Establish and develop new and existing customer relationships and market areas for the company’s Leisure Marine products and capability.

5. Visit, support and develop close working relationships with associate companies, customers and distributors in the UK and International Markets.

6. Provide product support to incoming enquiries when required.

7. Co-ordinate the forecast for Leisure Marine product range.

8. To sell the Leisure Marine products in the UK and International Markets in line with the company’s bookings and contribution budgets.

9. Provide the Head of Industrial, Directors and associate companies with marketing and project reports identifying current status and new areas of business opportunity.

10. Influence pricing levels through market awareness whilst maximising profit levels for the company in line with Business Plan objectives.

Specific Education; Qualifications & Experience:

ONC/HNC in Electrical/Electronic discipline

At least 5 years Sales/Marketing experience in Leisure Marine and/or connector industry

This role is offered at between £31,000 and £38,000 pa
