JOB DESCRIPTION

A well established marine company based near Chichester specialising in the international sales of yacht interior products are in an exciting time of growth. A new role has been developed in their quality control.


Primarily your role will be to establish and create an environment where all staff strive to produce Quality products and services. Objectively you will ensure that all products exceed the expectations of their customers and are made to the correct specifications. Leadership and communication are the core skills required to effectively implement the standards throughout the Company.


Outline of main duties:

Ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring the Company’s products are built to correct specification by establishing effective procedures and inspections at all stages

Provide reporting information on Warranty and supplier comments.
Ensure all feedback on product quality is correctly logged and actioned accordingly.
Report on warranty performance.

Liaise with Sales teams and customers to fully understand product Quality improvements required in order to formulate methods for improving quality standards

Establish and maintain an effective procedure so that the company Quality standards are appropriately communicated with all suppliers; working closely with Purchasing and the Supply Chain Director.

Provide information for internal assembly, manufacture and packing for improvement by Design, Engineering, Production and shipping teams.


This a varied and exciting role where a flexible and can do approach is required.

Essentially you will have proven experience in Quality Management ideally from a marine background.


Working Week:40 Hours: Monday - Thursday 08.00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 13.30
