JOB DESCRIPTION


The owner of a luxury beach resort; offers a fantastic opportunity for a captain to run his private motor yacht; a Sunseeker 84 Manhattan which berths in the resorts busy marina based in Saudi Arabia. A great salary & package will be offered to the right individual.

This is a long term permanent position, ideally looking for someone to commit to a two or three year contract.

You will have at least three years experience in running similar caliber yachts.
The position would ideally suite someone who is looking to move out to the middle east for a long term period; perhaps with their partner or family.
Candidates will also be considered who are looking to step up from running a smaller yacht; i.e. a 60ft or 70ft yacht.

The yacht is predominantly based in the marina complex; used mainly at weekends by the owner and his family.
The chartered areas will be as far as Dubai and visiting various local islands.
Occasionally at the weekends you will be required to stay on-board over night; otherwise accommodation is provided for in the marina.

It is expected you will have a sound understanding of varied modern yacht systems, and can handle the usual day to day maintenance tasks involved in running a yacht of this caliber to an efficient and high standard.
A high emphasis will be required on the engine maintenance and capability of liaising with outside contractors; overseeing more complicated jobs followed through with the right time schedules.

Required Qualifications:

Yachtmaster Offshore Power – preferably commercially endorsed
Basic First Aid Training – Ideally Ships Captain Medical



SALARY

A monthly Salary of $4000 USD / Per month. (full time contract)
Furnished accommodation for the successful candidate and family up to 3 children.
Utilities such as electricity, water and gas are paid.
A Transportation fee, of 10% of the monthly salary is also included.
Any school fees for children will be paid.
Life & travel insurance and personal accident is covered.
Class A Medical insurance for you and your family up to 3 children.
