A leading international freight and logistics company that transport some of the worlds most famous sailing and motor yachts around the world are recruiting for someone to join them as Marketing Manager
The role is quite diverse and the successful candidate will be responsible for many PR, Marketing and Communication tasks including:
- Preparing marketing plans
- Budget Control
- Market Research
- Brand Management
- Public Relations
- Website Management
- Sponsorship
- Advertising
- Exhibition Management
- Corporate Events
- Business development and Sales Support
The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing, communications and PR back ground of at least 3 – 5 years within a similar role at a medium to large business ideally similar to our client but not essentially, and will have experience with all the above listed topics. This is a new position within the company and our client expects this person to start running with a very proactive forward thinking approach and also be able to bring experience and new ideas to the company.
The nature of the company and the role will require the successful candidate to partake in some foreign travel for short periods of time to work at various events including boat shows, it also requires a 'roll the sleeves up and help the team out wherever possible' approach as this is a small but busy and fun department to be apart of.
