JOB DESCRIPTION

A highly experienced and qualified Yacht Engineer is required full time to work on a brand new 100ft Yacht and its 40ft tender which are currently sill being built. Candidates must be able to, and want to sail.

The position starts is early June and the Engineer would be required to join the boats in their finishing stages, be present for the sea trails. The boats then go to the Southampton Boat Show and immediately after that will be shipped out for the Caribbean season and then back to the Med where they will be based.

Candidates will have MCA qualifications if equivalent and must be able to and WANT to sail. At least RYA power boat level 2 qualifications are also required as driving the tender will be one of the Engineers duties.

Between the two boats the successful candidate will be running 3 diesel engines, 2 gen sets, 2 water makers and air con units plus a variety of other systems so a high level of experience will be needed.

SALARY
