Yacht Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fairview Sailing is an expanding yacht charter company based in Hamble offering bareboat, skippered charters and Corporate events. A permanent position is available to assist our existing maintenance team.

The ideal candidate needs to have a broad knowledge of all aspects of general yacht maintenance and terminology. A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail is paramount to uphold our maintenance programme. You will need to be able to work under pressure during some periods of the season. Weekend work will be necessary on a rota system with time given off in lieu. Flexibility of occasional early evening work is required to satisfy our customer requirements. Good customer service, communication skills and a smart appearance is essential.

Sailing qualifications are not essential.

SALARY

40 hour week. 20 days paid holiday – Salary dependant on experience
