JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a market leader in marine safety equipment.  They provide safety equipment for passenger and commercial vessels, the defence sector, and leisure yachts.

They currently have an opening for an experienced Sales Manager to run their Aberdeen Office.

Candidates must:
-    Have relevant Sales experience
-    Have a working knowledge of the commercial sector of the marine industry
-    Be confident and enthusiastic
-    Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary responsibilities include:
-    Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
-    Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
-    Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
-    Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
-    Follow up on enquiries, providing advice and quotations to clients
-    Regular meetings with new companies and existing clients

Candidates will be required to have a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and services. Training will be provided at the start of employment.

This is an office based role; however, candidates should expect to spend a couple of days a week visiting new and existing clients.
