A fast growing leading provider of advanced marine monitoring, automation and propulsion systems, providing innovative and reliable solutions for Yachts, Cargo Vessels, Tugs, Work Boats and Ferries. Currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Design Engineer in their Bournemouth office.

The ideal applicant will be:

• Educated to a minimum of degree standard in Marine Electrical Engineering . Experienced in electrical machine and electrical power distribution arrangements in ships, from generators through switchboards, conversion machinery and fuse panels to the equipment that they feed.
• Knowledgeable of design requirements with regard to legislation, standards and policies, and have the ability to apply this in specifying and developing major and minor changes to current equipment together with the ability to design systems such as Switchboards for AC/DC systems.
• IT literate and proficient in working with Auto Cad software together with electronic system programming software.
• Able to interpret and identify errors in ships' electrical supply drawings.
• Able to assist in feasibility studies: specifying requirements, identifying and evaluating options for changes to meet those requirements, and specifying preferred options.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Motivated by working in a challenging environment.
