ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - £40,000 - £50,000pa – NATIONWIDE, UK - VACANCY CLOSED

JOB LOCATION JOB TITLE JOB REF JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of ship engineering systems, solutions, and products that are efficient, economically sound, and environmentally sustainable. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their exciting team. Responsibilities include - To design electrical solutions and deliver electrical engineering projects.
- Detailed surveys of major electrical plant/switchboards (HV and LV), focusing on power control and protection systems. This will require travel to clients and vessels as required.
- To produce quotes as per customers’ enquiries within timeframes
- Preparation of design packages, work packs and electrical schematics/documents.
- Use of AutoCAD to establish base designs
- Project management and liaison with clients, key vendors and certifying authorities
- Technical support for our clients field service teams
- To participate in the 24-hr. rota for customer enquiries at all depots
Ideal candidates must have engineering HND or higher, and have worked within the Marine Industry, Oil & Gas or Power Generation sector Candidate must also have experience in detailed electrical design of systems - Power Generation

- Variable Speed Drives
