JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading worldwide Spar maker require a Design Engineer to join their design team in the UK.

Their UK technical department is responsible for the design and development of composite, keelboat and dinghy product ranges.  Reporting directly to the UK Technical Director, successful candidates will be part of an International team of 16 engineers. The role will involve working on a number of new and innovative projects which will help to maintain and extend their position as an industry leader. They are looking for post-graduates with at least two years industry experience. Knowledge of composites or spar making is not necessary but would be an advantage. Sailing experience is essential.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture; or similar related subjects.

Ideally you will have good knowledge of and familiarity with CAD packages such as Pro Engineer.
