Our client is a leading Yacht Manufacturer in the South with an excellent reputation in the leisure marine and superyacht sectors. They currently have an opening for a  Naval Architect at their offices on the south coast.

Person specification
  • Be qualified to Degree level (MEng or BEng) in Naval Architecture or similar
  • Have experience of working within a design team in the leisure marine sector
  • Ideally have around 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Be based on the South coast, or willing to relocate on a permanent basis
You will be involved within composite design and draughting for their new and existing product range. In addition there will also be the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Weight estimates
  • Noise & fire protection
  • Hydrostatics
  • Stability calculations
  • Moulding techniques
  • Development of new composite materials
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic candidate to join a leading company within the leisure marine sector.
Our client is looking for experienced candidates with the right attitude to join a fast paced, busy design team with some exciting projects coming up in the new year.

SALARY 

circa £20,000 - £25,000 pa dependent on experience
