Pembrokeshire College’s marine centre MITEC provides a range of courses from beginner to degree level, covering the design and building of marine craft, marine engineering and crewing or skippering boats. Practical boatbuilding skills using wood, steel and modern composites are complimented by advanced computerised design skills at MITEC marine Technology centre.


MITEC was purpose-built in 2000 as part of the re-development of the docks area. MITEC now forms an integral part of the Marina and Docks. MITEC wood, metal, engineering and FRP / composite workshops contain an extensive range of boatbuilding and marine engineering equipment supported by state-of-the-art computer and classroom facilities.
